Charge weapons are one of the 5 default weapon types unlocked from the start of the game. It rapidly shoots small bullets with some inaccuracy, but while not being fired it automatically charges up extra bullets for the next shot. The maximum charge is 15 bullets, and the charge rate is the same as the gun's fire rate (12 bullets/second by default). Charge shots still consume 1 ammo per bullet fired.
