Floors
Levels or floors in Star of Providence are generally represented as floors of the facility in which it takes place. Each floor has a unique aesthetic and often unique types of obstacles or traps. A greater variety of enemies will be encountered as one progresses further, including mini-bosses and bosses unique to the floor that the player is on.
A variety of different rooms will be generated upon entering each floor, and certain special rooms will always show up on certain floors. For instance, shops can always be found on Floors 1-5 and 7, but will only show up on 6 conditionally.
Initially, there are five floors available to the player. Floors 6 and 7 can be unlocked and the Temple can be accessed by fulfilling specific objectives or conditions (see their respective pages for details on accessing them).
The deeper into the Facility the player goes, the larger the floors get and, as expected, the more challenging and complex the room designs will be.
Hub Floors
These are not "real" floors, existing as a staging area before runs.
Normal Floors
All five base floors can be accessed from the first run onward, and require no special conditions to be completed before they can be accessed.
Floor 6
To access the sixth floor, the player must collect all four seals, usually done across multiple runs.
