Attack Patterns
Grimm's attacks consistent of throwing scythes in the direction of the player, and then, ultimately, launching any within range of its cry directly at the player a few moments later.

Grimm launches scythes at the player that become embedded in a surface. The stationary scythes fire six bullets, in aligned pairs at fixed angles of each other, upon impact with the surface. After this initial volley, they remain dormant until dislodging from the wall, and react to Grimm's cry. | ![]() |
Grimm launches scythes at the player that settle in open air. Open-air scythes continuously spin, firing trios of bullets in a counter-clockwise rotation until reacting to Grimm's cry. | ![]() |
Additional Behavior
• Grimm slowly pursues the player throughout the room.
• While Grimm does not do contact damage, the scythe it carries does.
• The condition for Grimm's launching scythes at the player seems to be that when there are 3 or more scythes embedded in a surface or 3 scythes in open air, Grimm will then launch the scythes. Embedded scythes will quickly dislodge and prepare for launch, where open air scythes will spin for a few moments before firing off. It seems a maximum of 6 scythes can be present on screen before Grimm launches them.
