Grinder is one of four Bosses that can be encountered in Excavation. Its attacks all utilize the razors that it produces from its hands. This boss was added in the Relics of the Past DLC.
Attack Patterns

| Grinder can form a column of razors on each side of the arena.
Razors will shoot horizontally at the player, alternating between coming from the left and the right, until 10 razors have been fired. Grinder will then recall the columns. Occasionally, 2 razors can be simultaneously fired at the player. The second razor does not count towards the total of 10 needed to end the attack. |

| Grinder will also rapidly shoot razors from its hands in groups of threes, with the middle razor aimed directly at the player each time. |

| It also boasts two types of punches. The first is a simple launching of the fist at the player. | 
|
| For the second, Grinder will point its fist straight downwards, try to line up its path with the player, and then launch it. Bullets will fire to the sides while the fist is traveling, and it will fire needle bullets all around on its way back up. | 
|
Hard Mode
- On Hard mode, each of Grinder's attacks will fire more bullets. During its two-column attack, the razors will leave a trail of bullets behind them.
Trivia
- Upon being killed by Grinder, the post-run screen will state the cause of death as "Butchered by Grinder".
