The Pulsar is an unlockable weapon that can be purchased from Kleines for 100,000G after finishing at least 1 run (either by winning or dying). It has an extremely high fire rate, but limited range and some slight inaccuracy. Pulsar's bullets disappear after travelling a certain distance (about 2/3 the length of a room) even if they don't hit an enemy or wall. This downside is particularly egregious in water, as the bullets are slower and don't travel nearly as far before disappearing. Overall, the Pulsar has a high damage output but low ammo efficiency, so it doesn't last long without ammo refills.

Notes

  • Combining Shotgun Style with Triple and/or Wider Spray yields extremely high damage, enough to kill most boss phases in 3 or fewer shots.
    • Under the right circumstances, this kind of Pulsar can even kill Chaos God's core in a single shot, skipping its 2nd and 3rd phases entirely.
